EHS Specialist

Amazon.com Services LLC is recruiting a full-time EHS Specialist in Bondurant, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safety programs, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and preventive actions.
• Train and coach associates and managers and use safety data to improve site performance.
• Support emergency response and first-aid readiness.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one route: one year in EHS; a bachelor degree in an EHS-related subject; or six months in an Amazon safety role.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Word and Excel, and confidential-information handling.

Working conditions and pay

Flexible shifts, lifting up to 49 lb, long periods standing or walking, variable noise and temperatures, and stair use may be required. The employer lists USD 28.94–33.41 per hour.
