WHS Specialist

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC is recruiting a full-time WHS Specialist in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments and improvement actions.
• Train associates and managers, promote safer work habits and use data to strengthen safety performance.
• Support emergency readiness and workplace wellbeing.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one route: one year in an EHS field; a bachelor degree in a relevant subject; or six months in an Amazon safety role.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Word and Excel, and confidential-information handling.

Working conditions and pay

Flexible shifts, lifting up to 49 lb, standing or walking for up to 12 hours, variable noise and temperatures, and stair use may be required. The employer lists CAD 31.10–40.38 per hour.
