EHS Senior Specialist

Role overview

Handle complex EHS assignments supporting Caterpillar’s facility performance and compliance in Cary.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards, establish protections, coordinate training and audit programmes against regulations and company standards.
• Analyse performance trends and recommend improvements.
• Support vendor environmental assessment, safety policies, reporting, cross-department cooperation, pollution prevention and resource conservation.

Required capabilities

Experience delivering EHS projects supporting facility compliance. Demonstrate policy compliance, critical thinking, sound decisions, relationship management and risk assessment.

Preferred capabilities

Sustainability data and research, collaboration, change management and systematic problem-solving.

Work and benefits

Full-time; onsite five days weekly; travel up to 25%. No visa sponsorship. Employment is conditional on a successful drug screen.
