Senior Program Manager, Workplace Health & Safety

Amazon Workplace Health and Safety is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its Central Programs Team, based in Nashville with Arlington and Bellevue also listed.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety projects from initial concept through proof of concept, pilot, network deployment and closure.
• Study operations processes, identify risk and build programs that reduce hazards and sustain a strong safety culture.
• Develop project plans, schedules, vendor scopes and tollgate materials with clear milestones and accountability.
• Manage vendors, third-party labour coordination, material suppliers, compliance requirements and purchase orders.
• Produce data-backed narratives for business reviews and escalations and communicate progress to operations, engineering and WHS stakeholders.
• Document lessons learned and build reusable playbooks that reduce cycle time and rework.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, safety or a related field.
• At least seven years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics and owning strategy, end-to-end delivery and senior-level reporting.

Preferred qualifications

• Process-improvement experience, a relevant master’s degree or MBA, knowledge of AI tools and experience scaling workforce-development programs.

Travel may be required up to approximately 25%.
