Workplace safety responsibilities

• Oversee WSH matters at the office, workshop and operating premises.
• Implement safety policies, risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Coordinate inspections, hazard correction, workshop safety, incident investigations, audits, bizSAFE work, training and toolbox meetings.
• Monitor compliance with WSH regulations and the validity of required safety certifications.

Facilities and regulatory responsibilities

• Oversee the office, workshop, store and operational facilities.
• Manage worker dormitory maintenance, cleanliness, hygiene, safety, licensing, renewals and inspections.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, SCDF, BCA, consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Monitor permits, registrations and regulatory deadlines.
• Guide the Store and Safety Coordinator and Dormitory Supervisor and coordinate their daily operational work.
• Maintain safety, facilities and dormitory records and update management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in WSH, engineering, facilities management or a related discipline.
• At least two years of relevant safety, facilities or regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH and dormitory requirements.
