Fleet Safety Coordinator

Role overview

The Fleet Safety Coordinator maintains compliant DOT and company records and manages safety information between Driver Managers and Fleet Safety. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Audit at least 10% of the fleet weekly.
• Work with Driver Managers and HR on new drivers and compliance.
• Maintain Driver Qualification files.
• Serve as the management contact for Fleet Safety and DOT processes.
• Monitor hours of service.
• Facilitate the monthly Accident Review Board.
• Monitor Pro-Tread training and deliver Smith System training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Organization, attention to detail and ability to manage several priorities.
• Microsoft Office skills; DOT and driver-management knowledge beneficial.
• Smith System instructor certification or ability to obtain it.
• Post-offer drug, alcohol and background checks.
