Lead HSE assurance and performance management across OpenAI’s United States data-center construction portfolio.

This full-time, United States remote role leads HSE oversight and performance across data-center construction, commissioning and operational handoff.

Build a portfolio HSE framework for contractors, risk assessment, training, verification and escalation.
Translate OSHA construction and general-industry requirements into site controls.
Verify controls for energization, hazardous energy, lifting, excavation and overlapping operations.
Define metrics, validate data and lead performance reviews.
Plan assurance and contractor reviews; support investigations and verify actions.
Coordinate waste, spill, stormwater and permit compliance.
Set HSE readiness criteria for commissioning and handoff.
Advise leadership on portfolio risk and resources.

Substantial HSE leadership on major construction or complex industrial projects, including multi-site contractors.
Knowledge of OSHA and high-risk construction or data-center hazards.
Experience with assurance, reporting, corrective actions, commissioning and handoff.
CSP, CIH or equivalent credential preferred.
