Health and Safety Assurance Manager

Role overview

Caredig is hiring a Health and Safety Assurance Manager in Swansea to lead governance and independent assurance.

Responsibilities

• Improve the safety management system.
• Deliver risk-based audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
• Advise leaders, the Audit and Risk Committee and Board.
• Investigate serious incidents and share learning.
• Review fire, gas, electrical, asbestos and water-safety compliance.
• Analyse performance and promote a proactive culture.

Mandatory qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
• Chartered IOSH membership or progress toward chartered status.
• Significant relevant housing, property, construction, maintenance or facilities experience.
• Audit, investigation, management-system and contractor-assurance experience.
• Driving licence and vehicle access.

Arrangement

This permanent full-time hybrid role is 35 hours per week, with two remote days indicated.
