EHS Advisor

Role overview

Convatec is recruiting an EHS Advisor for its manufacturing site in Rhymney, South Wales. The advisor will provide practical guidance, help maintain legal compliance and support continuous improvement of site EHS performance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Support risk assessments, inspections, audits and corrective-action tracking.
• Participate in incident investigations and help embed lessons learned.
• Maintain EHS procedures, records and management-system controls.
• Support employee engagement, training and site improvement programs.
• Monitor legal and company requirements relevant to site operations.

Mandatory qualifications

• A Level 5 health and safety qualification or equivalent professional capability.
• Relevant EHS experience in a high-hazard or complex operating environment.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence colleagues and work effectively across functions.

Preferred qualifications

• Membership of IOSH and IEMA.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated operations.

Work arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site role in Rhymney, with limited travel stated at under 10%.
