HSE Advisor

Role overview

Framatome is recruiting an HSE Advisor to support its activities at Sizewell. The role provides practical site advice, assurance and coaching so work is delivered in line with legal duties, client requirements and Framatome standards.

Key responsibilities

• Advise project and site teams on health, safety and environmental controls.
• Complete inspections, audits and assurance reviews and follow up corrective actions.
• Support risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Participate in incident investigations and communicate lessons learned.
• Monitor contractor performance and promote positive safety behaviours.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports and compliance evidence.

Mandatory qualifications

• A recognised health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
• Relevant HSE experience in construction, engineering or another regulated industry.
• Ability to interpret requirements and influence site personnel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in nuclear or similarly regulated project work.
• Professional membership and environmental awareness.

Pay and benefits

The employer lists a salary of £45,000 to £54,000 per year, alongside pension, leave and other company benefits.

Work arrangement

The role is based at Sizewell in England.
