Role overview

An undisclosed employer is recruiting through Vision Manpower for an HSE Lead at Bukom Island. The role leads compliance and safety performance across shutdown, maintenance and turnaround activities and supports a workforce exceeding 200 people.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE planning, execution and close-out for large shutdown and turnaround projects, including scaffold, insulation and painting work.
• Manage audits, corrective actions and high-risk work with clients, including confined-space entry, blasting, TSA operations, engineered scaffolding and simultaneous operations.
• Oversee corrosion-under-insulation work, insulation removal, hazardous-material controls and inspections.
• Run risk and assurance programmes, analyze observations and trends, and develop training, coaching and ergonomic improvements.
• Investigate incidents, injuries and complaints; complete root-cause analysis, regulatory reporting and HSEQ performance reports.
• Maintain contact with regulators and authorities, strengthen emergency readiness and improve the HSE management system.
• Coordinate HSE controls for workshop relocation and report KPIs at site, business-unit and corporate levels.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience.
• WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health and current MOM registration as a WSH Officer.
• Working-at-height and risk-management training at bizSAFE Level 2 or above.
• ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 auditor training, incident-investigation training, and emergency-response and crisis-management capability.

Work pattern and benefits
