Multi-Site EHS Lead

Role overview

Support several operations sites, apply workplace health and safety policies, and maintain compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Partner with operations leaders, use risk assessments and safety data to influence decisions, and apply lean methods and kaizen to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.

Key responsibilities

• Guide assigned sites on WHS policies and regulatory compliance.
• Measure performance, identify remediation plans and hold site teams accountable.
• Conduct site audits, analyze safety metrics and improve training quality.
• Engage leaders and associates to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee records, workplace organization and WHS training.

Requirements

• Three years of increasing responsibility in EHS or environmental programs.
• Bachelor's degree, or two years of Amazon Safety blue-badge experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and applicable safety standards.
• Ability to travel 50–70% and work flexible shifts.

Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, CSP, strong analytical and communication skills, and large-site safety experience. Work may require lifting 49 pounds, standing or walking for 12 hours, stairs, variable noise and temperatures, and emergency support. First Aid, CPR and AED certification must be obtained within three weeks if not already held.
