Onsite Medical Representative

Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative to support its Workplace Health and Safety program in Lacey, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Assess employee injuries and illnesses, provide first aid and make referrals to external medical providers as necessary.
• Maintain medical care records, daily logs, end-of-shift reporting, treatment-area standards and medical supplies.
• Coordinate work-injury case support, workers’ compensation and return-to-work activities.
• Coach employees on injury prevention, ergonomics, body mechanics and safe work habits.
• Participate in safety committee, case review and emergency response activities and assist first aid, CPR and AED training.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, and perform the physical requirements of an operational workplace.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support certification from an approved provider.
• Current EMT or Paramedic certification, or a current Athletic Trainer certification through the Board of Certification or equivalent state authority.

Preferred qualifications

• Instructor certification for first aid, CPR and AED, industrial wellness and ergonomics experience, OSHA and workers’ compensation knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency and strong digital recordkeeping.
