Onsite Medical Representative

Amazon’s Workplace Health and Safety team is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Assess occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, provide first aid and refer employees to outside medical providers when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate care records, activity logs, medical supplies and a clean treatment environment.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work support for work-related injuries.
• Coach employees on at-risk work habits, injury prevention, health and wellness, ergonomics and body mechanics.
• Participate in safety committee and case-review meetings, emergency response and first aid, CPR and AED training.
• Work flexible days, nights, weekends or holidays and meet physical demands including lifting up to 49 pounds, extended standing and stair use.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from an approved emergency cardiac care provider.
• Either current EMT or Paramedic certification or current Athletic Trainer certification from the Board of Certification or equivalent state authority.

Preferred qualifications

• First aid, CPR and AED instructor credential, Microsoft Office proficiency, industrial wellness experience, OSHA and workers’ compensation knowledge, ergonomic coaching and digital recordkeeping experience.
