Risk Manager, NA Water

Amazon.com Services LLC is recruiting a full-time Risk Manager for North American water compliance. Nashville is the primary listed location; Arlington and Bellevue are also listed.

Responsibilities

• Own water-quality, discharge, stormwater and wastewater compliance programs from definition through scale.
• Turn regulatory requirements into measurable field processes, milestones and governance controls.
• Partner with Legal, regulators, operations, technology and procurement and present risk and investment cases to senior leaders.
• Oversee consultants and inspection vendors and maintain performance dashboards and escalation paths.

Required qualifications

• Six years in compliance, audit or risk management.
• Five years in program or project management.
• Experience owning strategy and end-to-end delivery and communicating with senior leaders.
• Bachelor degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

• PMP or equivalent, a relevant masters degree, water-program experience, a professional water credential and ISO 14001 experience.

Conditions and pay

Travel of 25–50 percent is expected. The Nashville range is USD 109,000–155,400 per year.
